Creating business model implies complex process of activities in which is necessary to define the way and methods how to transform basic business idea into valuable proposition. To be able to understand concept of the business model we need to see its basic elements, such as: profit formula, processes and resources that we dispose. It is not possible to create a new business model or redefine existing if we don’t have clear value proposition for client. What does that mean?
The most important characteristic of the value proposition is the precision about how our proposition matches the request of the job that client needs to do. From the percentage of the precision matching directly depends the success of the whole business model. When is it necessary to create new business model? Big companies shouldn’t neglect creation of the new business model? Why? They can often create new products or services that will impact the change of the market and they will not need creation of the completely new business model. Most of those innovations have dominance with their current buyers and that is fine. What happens when it’s needed to change buyers or geographic territory or maybe enter into new segment of doing business?
